Our RV Bucket List for 2022

New year, new adventures! While travel rules and restrictions have foiled many plans these past few years, we still love compiling a yearly list of RVing intentions and destinations for the next 12 months. Here are a few ideas from our 2022 RV Bucket List to help you create your own.

Revisit a childhood favourite

Do you have fond camping memories as a kid? Take a road trip down memory lane and revisit a family favourite campground from childhood.

Go on a Parks Canada photo scavenger hunt

Download the free Parks Canada Photo Missions App, and if you’re visiting one of the 30 participating locations, your kids can hunt for landmarks and capture photos as they complete the mission.

Plan a themed road trip

Wine tour? Beach hopping? Historical points of interest? Pick a theme and plan your next RV road trip around that idea.

Go stargazing

Camping and stargazing go hand-in-hand! Parks Canada has ten designated Dark-Sky Preserves that you could add to your RV bucket list, with Grasslands National Park being the darkest Dark-Sky Preserve in Canada, and Wood Buffalo National Park being the largest Dark-Sky Preserve in the world.

Host a cook-off

Planning an RV trip with friends or extended family? Pick a theme and host a cook-off. From the best campfire chilli to the ultimate s’mores inspired dessert, it’s a delicious and fun way to spend an evening.

Learn a new skill

Fishing, geocaching, plant or bird identification, challenge yourself to learn something new this year, or improve on an activity you already enjoy.
